Job Description

The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the sales function and driving net-new revenue by leveraging industry knowledge and contacts across the US. The ideal candidate has led sales efforts within the wealth management and wealthtech/fintech space and has a track record of consistently exceeding growth targets. Responsibilities include:

About the role

  • Must increase and meet aggressive revenue targets for Willow’s Financial Advisor Certification and Marketing Platform.
  • Continue to build the infrastructure and foundation of an award-winning platform sales function.
  • Develop go to market strategies for both mature and emerging customer targets.
  • Manage, motivate and enhance the Sales team to achieve revenue goals, holding team members to a high standard of excellence and accountability.
  • Responsible for the evaluation and coordination of sales and customer retention efforts/teams.
  • Proactively analyze and implement continuous improvements to the operational efficiency of the sales, go-to market and retention initiatives and team.
  • Reports to, and collaborates closely with, the CEO.

About you

  • Significant success driving product-led growth, ideally in financial services or wealthtech/fintech,and track record of immediately close accounts.
  • Must have wealthtech/fintech and wealth management expertise and existing relationships with RIAs and enterprises.
  • Demonstrated success in building a high-performing, diverse sales team and delivering bottom-line financial results.
  • Charismatic leader and excellent keynote speaker/presenter. Very strong ability to present to customers, partners, with ease at a moment’s notice and without much preparation.
  • High willingness to travel and work at late/long hours as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and lead multiple, concurrent sales channels and strategies to a combined, rapid growth outcome.
  • Demonstrated success in accomplishing/exceeding aggressive revenue goals and growing ARR year over year.
  • Being quantitative about how you run the commercial + upsell function. Relentlessly drives improvements and optimizations.
  • Knows how to build tight relationships with the C-suite and Executive
  • Management team, as well as individual advisors and team.
  • Creative, obsessed with metrics, hard driving/hard charger.
  • Aligned with and passionate about Willow’s mission.

Additional Details:

  • This role is remote with the expectation of regular travel.
  • Compensation for this role is salary + commission + equity.
